Brochure Printing Creates Customers For Google

Can a piece of paper create sales? It can for Google.

Google the king of the Internet, the giant of the web, the company that changed advertising forever, the company that makes billions with on line advertising, uses one of the most traditional forms of advertising to target new customers and create sales; brochure printing.

Dataguide is a perfect example. We'd thought about PPC (pay per click) and Google Adwords, but we weren't sure it would work for our products and didn't want to waste money trying to figure it out. Then out of the blue Google sends a brochure, using snail mail of all things, with an offer to try Google Adwords for free. It was perfect and it worked; brochure printing created a new customer for Google with a simple piece of paper.

Google created a brochure that included a coupon giving the user $100 off their first PPC campaign. The coupon included an activation code to be used when setting up the new account, that code allowed them to track the effectiveness and the ROI of the entire brochure printing project. For Dataguide it gave us a risk free chance to try Google's services and see if  PPC can create sales for us.

It's been said that printing is dead; it may be different but it isn't dead, and it won't be as long as it helps companies like Google create new customers and new sales. In fact when printing is used in conjunction with the web, print to web, it's more effective than ever. Using digital print and variable copy to create promotional codes that must be entered into the web allows you to measure the exact results of every campaign.

If brochure printing creates sales for Google, surely it can create sales for your company.
