Presentation Folders; Inexpensive Secondary Marketing

Marketing is not sales; it compliments sales but the objectives are different. The goal of marketing is to increase brand awareness, improve name recognition and to generate leads that can ultimately become sales. There are lots of ways to accomplish the goal but some are expensive and complicated while others are simple and low cost.

Presentation folders are a simple  and inexpensive  way to achieve the secondary objectives of increasing name recognition and brand awareness. Its an easy way to remind existing customers of who you are, what you do and why they should continuing buying from you.

Think of presentation folders as product packaging. Big companies pay huge money for product packaging all in an effort to increase name recognition and brand awareness. Every store you shop at, from the hardware store to the supermarket, from McDonalds to Neiman Marcus, gives you a bag with their name and brand proudly displayed on the outside.

Why? why do they spend the extra money on a bag that will surely end up in the trash within hours of leaving the store, because from the time the bag leaves the store to the time the bag goes in the trash it's effectively keeping the brand and company name in front of you and everyone you come in contact with.

Presentation folders are just like those bags, they keep your name and brand in front of customers and prospects when you're not there. Presentation folders are carried around, passed around, handed to other people, left on desks, passed up the line, shared and talked about. all the while promoting your company brand to all they come in contact with.

Can you think of a lower cost, more effective way to promote your brand and increase name recognition than a simple presentation folder?
