Have you ever seen an ad for Facebook? Everyone knows who they are but I've never seen them advertise anywhere. I've never seen a TV ad, heard a radio ad, seen a print ad, seen a billboard or even a custom poster advertising Facebook and it's one of the biggest companies in the world. The only thing I've seen is a full color Tri Fold Brochure delivered by of all things snail mail!

Creating a packet of information for prospective students can be challenging. Especially for a University, or College, the presentation folder will contain some of the most important information that a student or parent will base a 4 year decision upon. Whether the materials are hastily gathered, or whether there is thought put into that customized folder will be immediately evident to the recipient.

If you're looking to save money on a brochure printing project, or any large printing project for that matter it pays to focus on the process. In 2006 Infotrends did a study that concluded for every $1 spent for printing there's as much as $6 spent in the process, therefore you can save a lot more by focusing on the entire process that you can by just focusing on the printing cost.
